If you caught yesterday’s blog post, you know this weekend we’re exhibiting at NECA Convention in San Diego. Today, our “Countdown to NECA Convention” continues with this list of what we’re hoping to do (and where we’re hoping to eat!) while we’re on the West Coast:
- Balboa Park: How can we venture to San Diego and not visit this five-star park? The park is hosting 50+ events each day throughout the conference too, so plenty of options to choose from.
- Donovan’s Steak and Chophouse: After a full day of sessions and workshops, what could be more tempting than a martini happy hour and prime steak? (Hint: not much!)
- Downtown San Diego: Between the Gaslamp Quarter, Horton Plaza and East Village, we might need an extra day to check out all of the shopping, dining and entertainment downtown San Diego has to offer. Looking forward to exploring!
- Oceanaire Seafood: A trip to the West Coast wouldn’t be complete without a taste of the local flavor. Plus, we hear the crabcakes are superb.
- San Diego Safari Park: Zip-lining over the San Diego Zoo’s exhibits? We’re in!
- Tours of San Diego: From “San Diego by Land and Sea” to “A Walk Through Time in the Gaslamp Quarter,” to “Behind the Scenes at the San Diego Zoo,” huge thanks to NECA for coordinating seven tours of San Diego for conference attendees to check out.
- Trattoria La Strada: Another Gaslamp Quarter favorite. Plus, it’s known as the finest authentic Italian restaurant in the district.
What would you add to this list? If you’ll be in San Diego this weekend for NECA Convention, let’s connect! (rfisher@meproducts.net; @rfisher1228)
