S.A.W. is one of the largest employers of persons with developmental disabilities in Ohio. For 40 years, S.A.W. has been a reliable staffing and outsourcing resource for some of the largest companies in northeast Ohio. S.A.W., Inc. is a private, 501.C.3, Ohio non-profit organization established in 1969 to provide employment to individuals with developmental disabilities. S.A.W. is the non-profit partner of the Cuyahoga County Board of Development Disabilities (CCBDD). Tavens currently has a crew in house working daily, and have been partnered with S.A.W. for over 21 years.
Harvest for Hunger
Harvest for Hunger is an annual, 21-county food and fund drive and is one of the largest in the country. In 2012 Northeast Ohioans contributed over $3.7 million and more than 405,000 pounds of food, providing enough food for over 15 million meals. The Cleveland Foodbank organizes the campaign in partnership with three other food banks in Northeast and North Central Ohio. The food and funds raised support food pantries, hot meal programs, and shelters throughout the region.
